TIP: Our claiming system uses chunks. Chunks are 16x16 blocks , from bedrock to the maximum height limit (320) 1 chunk is one claim for your town. To view chunks, use F3 + G at the same time.
Claiming chunks cost $200 per chunk and will cost $100 a day to upkeep. To check your town’s chunk limit and daily upkeep use /town

Money for upkeep can be collected with /town set taxes <amount> taxes
will be collected from town members every day. If a town fails to pay its upkeep it will go into debt. Once the debt cap is reached the town will be disbanded. Town upkeep is calculated with the formula $100 * (amount of claims). Earth has a new Admin shop this season. In this shop, you can sell items such as crops, blocks and mob drops. Also purchase items such as blocks, decorations, farming supplies and spawners.
This season the shop prices for items like mob drops & crops will change depending on selling volume. For example, if the selling volume of an item is high the value for that item will drop if the selling activity is low the value of the item will increase. Sell wands, harvester hoes, & auto sell chests are all affected by dynamic pricing if they are selling a dynamically priced item using commands like /sell
.
The Admin shop has a floor and ceiling price so that the value of an item can't artificially be raised too much or fall too low. As shown in the screenshot below, items that follow the dynamic pricing will have a (%) next to the value of the item. When the value of that item increases the percent will increase once the percent reaches (100%) the item will have reached its price ceiling. If the item loses value due to low selling activity the percent will decrease until it reaches the floor price at (-100%).
Earth's economy is mainly run by players who decide what the price of items that don't sell to the admin shop sell for in-game. You can do /shop and click the chest in the middle of the menu to access a list of player shops.
CAUTION: Using Chest Shops as a way to harm or kill another player such as setting up traps or making unsafe shop locations is against the rules.
