A nation is a collection of merged towns. Each nation has a capital town that can be changed with /n set capital [town name]
. The mayor of the capital town is the leader of the nation (the king). You may create a nation using /n new [name]
. Creating a nation costs $50,000.
Creating or joining a nation has multiple advantages. One of the benefits is the ability to teleport to allies' nation spawns, making trading and traveling easier. Joining a nation also gives you extra claims for your own town (which can increase as the nation population increases), an increased outpost limit.
Towns in an alliance can help to defend the town when it's being sieged, but can also help attacking when sieging a town. Of course, a nation also has the option to remain peaceful and stay away from the danger zones.
To join a nation, you have to be invited by a nation. A nation can invite towns to their nation with /nation add [town name]
. A town then can accept the invite with /t invite accept [nation name]
you can also revoke invites with /nation invite -[town name]
.
It's also possible to allow every town to join your nation if they want to. To become an open nation, use /nation toggle open
. To see open nations, use /nation list
. To join one of the open nations, use /nation join [name]
.
NOTE: Being an open nation comes with some risks if you did not set up your town permissions correctly. Being open means that any player can join whenever, and teleport to your town whenever. Be sure to protect your valuable items through plots or locked chests.
Nations offers a variety of ranks which grants different permissions in the nation.
The leader of the nation has access to all nation commands
NOTE: All Nation ranks have keep inventory enabled during sieges while inside the siege zone.
To make a nation, your town needs to have $50,000 in the town bank. Then run the command /n new [Nation name]
. The founding town will become the nation capital, and its mayor will become the nation leader.
To set the nation spawn you can use /n set spawn
.
A nation does not have any upkeep expenses, but you can still set a tax for your towns with /n set taxes [amount]
You can not set taxes more than $1000 per day.
WARNING: Make sure to set the taxes at a reasonable amount. No one likes a greedy leader!
Two nations can decide to join in an alliance, which allows them to be protected from friendly fire, help on each others plots (if the plot's perm line allows allies,) and to help each other in sieges. Alliances are 2-way only. Nation A cannot consider Nation B an ally unless the Nation B also considers Nation A an ally.
To send a ally request do the command /n ally add [Nation name]
.
To see your allies do /n allylist
.
A nation can also set a nation as an enemy nation, this will affect all players in the enemy nation as they no longer can use any /t spawn
of the nation that declared them as enemies.
To set a nation as a enemy do /n enemy add [Nation name]
.
To see your enemies do /n enemylist
.
To siege a town which is a part of an nation, the nation has to be set as an enemy nation.
Having multiple towns in the nation is important, as it gives the nation and the towns in the nations some benefits thats listed below! You can either invite towns to join your nation with /n add [town name]
or you can forcefully occupy a town by winning a siege against the town!
