Skyblock brings a fair amount of competition with the payouts and leaderboards. At the end of each month there are payouts for certain categories among all realms, but on Skyblock it is the ones who spent the most on island levels. It's up to you how competitive you would like to be; some players may just want to go for the nicest build on an island, while others may want to become the richest of them all and chase champion positions.
There are leaderboards that track the top players in various categories. There are monthly and all-time leaderboards that you can view. 5 of the categories will award you with monthly cubit payouts: (Island Top, Harvests, Mob Kills, Event Score and Player Kills). If you place top 5, you will also receive a trophy that can be placed down.
The leaderboards can be visited at /warp leaderboards
. Additionally, you can check leaderboard information by doing /leaderboards

Cubit rewards are given out at the end of each month automatically. Leaderboard placement will determine the amount of cubits you receive. If you place first, you will receive 30 cubits whereas if you're fifth, you'll receive 10 cubits.

Players may not make last minute deals with other players to increase their chances of receiving a spot on the final leaderboards to receive leaderboard/payout prizes. This gives an unfair advantage based on popularity.
Any cheating, e.g. hacking, bug abuse, scamming, etc. may result in a temporary or permanent ban from the leaderboards.
NOTE: If you feel you were falsely banned from the Leaderboards please file a leaderboards ban appeal on the Forums.
