There are various kinds of enchantments that can be applied to your tools, weapons, and armor.
There are two main types of enchants, ones that can be bought with Mana through the Mana Exchange and the other with vanilla XP through The Enchanter.
All enchantments bought through the Mana Exchange can be applied to pickaxes, axes, and shovels. The Mana Exchange menu can be accessed by right-clicking any pickaxe, typing the commands /upgrade
and /exchange
, or by warping to The Enchanter, /warp enchant
. As suggested by the name, all enchantments bought through the Mana Exchange cost Mana. To purchase an enchant, left-click the desired enchantment and right click to disenchant. Only certain enchants are able to be disenchanted.
Each enchantment has a set amount of Mana that it costs to purchase per enchantment level. When buying higher levels of an enchantment, the Mana cost will be slightly higher each time. The price is the original cost (in Mana) of the enchant multiplied by the enchantment level that you are trying to purchase.

, and clicking on the book. Right-click the book to open it and receive a random enchantment in that category. These enchantments are not able to be disenchanted. Every custom enchantment book has a success and destroy rate. The higher the success rate, the more likely that the enchantment book will successfully be applied to the tool, weapon, armor, etc. Vice versa, the higher the destroy chance, the more likely that the enchantment book will not successfully be applied and will fail. If an enchantment book fails, both the book and the item it is put on is destroyed, and will disappear. To raise the success chance to 100% and make sure the book will never fail, you can put on Success Magic Dust.
Success Magic Dust appears as a piece of sugar, and varies from 1% all the way to 100%. The dust can be applied to custom enchantment books by clicking on the magic dust, and then clicking on the enchant that you want its success rate to increase. It can be obtained through Gift from the Gods or mainly with The Tinkerer.
The Tinkerer is a merchant that can be used to obtain Success Magic Dust by trading in custom enchantment books. Tinker can be accessed with the command,
/tinker
, or by warping to The Tinkerer at spawn, /warp tinker
or /warp tinkerer
.
The Tinkerer is used to turn Custom Enchantment books that you no longer need/want into “Mystery Dust” .
The GUI above appears, and you click on the custom enchantment books you want to recycle for dust, then click on the red wool twice to receive secret dust.
Secret dust can be right-clicked to receive either Success Magic Dust or Mystery Dust, which is just a piece of gunpowder and has little to no uses.
The Blacksmith is a merchant that can be used to combine custom enchantment books or Success Magic Dust. The Blacksmith can be accessed with the command, /blacksmith
, or by warping to The Blacksmith at spawn, /warp blacksmith
.
As shown above, The Blacksmith will combine 2 custom enchantment books of the same type and level for one enchant book of +1 higher level. For example, 2 Hardened II books will combine to create 1 Hardened III book. It is the same for Success Magic Dust, combining any 2 percentages of mystery dust will result in a random percentage for the combined dust. Combining custom enchant books or Success Magic Dust will require vanilla XP, the amount varying according from the type of books used, to the level it’s combining to.
